Scholarship: Make a Counter Stool Workshop March 2024
Are you an aspiring furniture maker hindered by the cost to learn? Finefolk is offering one full scholarship to our upcoming Counter Stool Workshop this March! The scholarship includes tuition and materials. You will finish the workshop with your own counter stool to take home, plus the skills to make more!
This scholarship is designed to benefit a young adult living in Prince Edward County who has some experience making craft (in any medium) but limited funds to participate.
To be eligible you must:
- be between the age of 18 and 30
- be a permanent resident of Prince Edward County
- complete the application (link below)
- submit 5 images of work you made with your hands, be it in wood, clay, fibre, paper, metal, jewelry, etc.
- write a cover letter explaining how you could benefit from this experience
- include a CV
The deadline to apply is 11:59pm on February 14th 2024
All applicants will be notified of their application status by March 1st.
